About

Creative South gives locals and visitors a dynamic and engaging tool to uncover the hidden cultural treasures of the South.

The website brings to life the vast and vibrant creativity of South Eastern NSW.

Creative South is a joint project between Southern Tableland Arts and South East Arts, funded through CREATE NSW’s RESTART initiative with the aim of building cultural tourism.

Who are we?

Creative South is the result of a proud partnership between STA and SE Arts who are both part of the state-wide network of Regional Arts Development Organisations. The project covers the vast, fascinating and inspiring regions serviced by Southern Tablelands Arts and South East Arts.

STA support artists, cultural organisations and audiences in the council areas of Goulburn Mulwaree, Hilltops, Upper Lachlan Shire, Wingecarribee Shire, Wollondilly Shire, Yass Valley and Queanbeyan Palerang. southerntablelandsarts.com.au

South East Arts works across multi art forms connecting with individual artists, arts organisations, communities and audiences in the Bega Valley, Eurobodalla and Snowy Monaro. southeastarts.org.au

STA and SE Arts work with makers and creative communities, energising and supporting the living culture of the Southern Highlands, Tablelands, and South East NSW through a rich and varied program of activities and events. They create, educate and advocate for the arts in these regions.  In the first collaboration of its kind, these two organisations have worked together to bring you this art-enthusiast’s guide to Southern NSW.
